Credit Score Range (Quick Tip)

on Monday, 10 October 2016.

The credit score range normally means the maximum and minimum possible rating for a credit score.
For instance, our credit score ranges from 1 to 100 the lower the number the bigger the risk.

Other providers may use different scoring methods such as words, letters or a different number range.  If it isn’t clear you should find out from your provider what the range is and what it means.

So for Apart-Data company credit reports you need to be seeing the credit score as near to 100 as practically possible, we would normally advise If you are looking to keep risk at a minimum you should be looking at a score of 80 or more, anything below 20 we would normally consider to be very dangerous.  Although ultimately at the end of the day it is your decision, some industries sectors will tend to have lower credit scores than others you should determine your own risk level.

You should also take into account the previous credit score, if there is a substantial drop you should look more carefully at the information provided.
